Saturday Social Walks
The Louise Smalley Walk hosts regular Social Walks, led by one of their experienced members, often encompassing a pub or cafe stop. These offer a safe and supportive space to get involved with walking, meet other walkers and a chance to explore new areas. The social walks are free, open to anyone and designed for enjoyment and to develop walking confidence. The pace of these walks will depend on the persons taking part but there is normally a guide time for the whole walk to be found in the walk detail.
Importantly, these are for pleasure and are not a commitment to do the walk, although walks around May time will feature some parts of that year’s route.
If you are interested in taking part in a LSW social walk just check out the notices on Facebook or contact Pete Wallace to be added to the Social Walks Wattsapp group.
